The pinnacle of integrated bracelet watches… The OG Cobra ref. 5403/341 BC with a wonderful glossy black dial & In my opinion it features the sexiest bracelet in the game… Created by the infamous watch designer Gerald Genta as he described his 1970s creation as the ‘perfect integration’.

The early Cobra models were released alongside the Royal Oak around 1972 featuring a 34mm case with a double diamond at 12 o’clock & later changing to slightly slimmer 33.5mm cases with bigger tapering on the bracelet. They feature a slim automatic cal. 2121 also fitted into the first Royal Oaks.

This model was most famously seen on the last Shah of Iran & been growing in popularity exponentially. The bracelet is composed of ten 18ct white gold rope like strands that weaves from case to clasp. The creation was made by ‘GRG’ known as Gilbert Gaschen as many brands outsourced their work to the best artisans & renowned jewellers at the time.
